About Us

The Mamsie Mlotshwa Foundation was born in 2010, inspired by the founder, Penuel Mlotshwa's mother, who dedicated her life to teaching and uplifting the needy.

She believed in the work ethic of Ants, and as such, also inspired our motto: "Antz@Work".

Beneficiaries:
In about 11 years, the foundation has collected and donated over 8,000 items of clothing and shoes, sponsored sports teams and choirs - and funded motivational speaking, mostly in KZN, Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.
Strategy:

The foundation focuses on collecting and donating used clothing and shoes, collecting and donating funds to schools, and hosting educational seminars and workshops to create self sufficiency amongst those that need them.
The foundation also has a calendar with themes for each month, and collaborates on an adhoc basis with other charity initiatives around South Africa.
